English Muffin Bread
5 1/2 cups warm water
3 packets RAPID RISE yeast
2 Tablespoons salt
3 Tablespoons sugar
11 cups flour (bread flour or all-purpose)
Mix all ingredients together until just combined. Do not over mix. Spoon into 4 well greased bread pans (I used 9" x 5" sprayed with Pam cooking spray). Let rise until dough reaches the top of the pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. 10 minutes before it's done baking, brush the tops of the loaves with melted butter. Continue baking until golden brown. COOL COMPLETELY before trying to cut. Bread will be very moist at first. Makes terrific toast! Freezes well. Recipe can be halved without any problem.
